Boston Red Sox catcher Christian Vazquez is back behind the plate Friday against the Cincinnati Reds.
Sandy Leon is taking a seat after starting on Wednesday, so after a few days off, it will be Vazquez behind the plate on Friday. He is batting sixth against right-hander Sal Romano.
