Chicago Cubs third baseman Kris Bryant is starting on Wednesday against the Tampa Bay Rays.
Bryant was given a breather on Tuesday, but he's back in action and working out of the two-hole in tonight's matchup with left-hander Blake Snell and the Rays. Javier Baez will move to second base while Ben Zobrist, Albert Almora, and Ian Happ handle outfield duties for the Cubs. Jason Heyward will be available off the bench.
Snell hasn't given up more than two runs in four of his past five starts, including a pair of shutouts and a one-run outing in his most recent trip to the mound, so the defending champs may be in a tough spot for this one. numberFire's models project Bryant to score 12.7 FanDuel points at a cost of $4,300 on Wednesday, while the Cubs carry an underwhelming implied total at 4.07 runs.
