New York Yankees designated hitter Matt Holliday is out of the lineup for Wednesday's road game against the Tampa Bay Rays.
It's a routine day off for Holliday, and Gary Sanchez will serve as the designated hitter while Austin Romine enters the lineup to handle catching duties.
Holliday has a .323 wOBA through 96 games in 2017, and numberFire's models project him to bat .250 while adding 2 home runs and 7 RBI in 51 plate appearances over the remainder of the season.
