Texas Rangers third baseman Adrian Beltre is likely done for the season after being diagnosed with a Grade 2 strain of his left hamstring.
The Rangers announced Beltre would miss at least four weeks with the injury and with four-and-a-half weeks left in the season, it would appear the veteran third baseman is finished for 2017, barring a playoff appearance for Texas. Joey Gallo will likely be the Rangers' third baseman down the stretch.
Beltre hit 16 homers with 66 RBI and a .315 batting average in 2017, his 20th MLB season.
