Milwaukee Brewers first baseman Jesus Aguilar is not starting on Friday against the Colorado Rockies.
Aguilar will head to the bench while Eric Thames draws the start at first base and leads off the order versus right-hander German Marquez and the Rockies.
Over 106 games this season, Aguilar is slashing .263/.331/.482 with 11 home runs and 39 RBI in 254 plate appearances (PA). numberFire's models project him to turn in a .260 batting average with 3 home runs, 12 RBI, and 10 runs scored in 85 PA over the remainder of the year.
