St. Louis Cardinals general manager John Mozeliak said Sunday that pitcher Jordan Walden (biceps) will miss the remainder of the 2015 season.
That's no surprise, as he only appeared in 12 games for the Cards this season before going down. If he doesn't receive surgery, Mozeliak noted that it will take a rigorous rehab regimen for him to even throw off of a mound by the end of the year.
Not much to see here for 2015, but he could be a good buy-low for next season. In 10 1/3 innings, he compiled a 0.87 ERA, 1.07 WHIP and 12:4 strikeout-to-walk ratio.
