Colorado Rockies infielder Ryan McMahon is starting on Thursday against the Atlanta Braves.
Mark Reynolds is getting a breather, so McMahon will fill the void at first base and bat sixth versus Braves right-hander Lucas Sims. The rookie has gone 1-for-6 since being called up from Triple-A Albuquerque on August 11.
This matchup sets up to be relatively batter-friendly affair (9.5 over/under, 1.015 park factor), so the Astros offer some upside for fantasy purposes. numberFire's models project McMahon to score 6.6 FanDuel points at a cost of only $2,000 on Thursday.
