The Minnesota Twins activated Glen Perkins from the club's 60-day disabled list on Thursday.
Perkins has been out since April of last year with multiple shoulder issues, but as the Twins send Dietrich Enns (shoulder) to the DL, the 34-year old will finally make his return. However, after serving as the team's closer from 2013 to 2015, he figures to pitch in low-leverage situations for the Twins this season.
Over just 12 innings of work the rest of the season, our numbers expect Perkins to tally 14 strikeouts and 7 earned runs against 52 total batters.
