Atlanta Braves outfielder Matt Kemp (hamstring) will be the starter in left field when he returns from the disabled list, manager Brian Snitker said.
Kemp will work out on Friday and if all goes well, he'll be activated Saturday. Matt Adams has been manning left field in Kemp's absence, but with Freddie Freeman back at first base full-time, it looks like Adams be a bench bat for Atlanta.
Our models project Kemp to hit .280 with 5 home runs, 15 runs, and 19 RBI in 135 more plate appearances in 2017.
