Washington Nationals catcher Matt Wieters is not starting on Wednesday against the Los Angeles Angels.
Wieters will grab a seat on the bench while Jose Lobaton draws the start behind the dish for the Nationals in Wednesday's series finale. Over 92 games this season, he's slashing .239/.289/.367 with 8 homers and 44 RBI in 356 plate appearances (PA).
numberFire's models project Wieters to record a .250 batting average with 3 home runs, 14 RBI, and 13 runs scored in 128 PA over the remainder of the year.
