Texas Rangers outfielder/designated hitter Shin-Soo Choo is starting on Tuesday against the Detroit Tigers.
After getting Monday off due to being "a little banged up," per manager Jeff Bannister, Choo will start at DH and bat second versus Tigers right-hander Justin Verlander. Delino DeShields will move to center field and lead off for Texas while Drew Robinson grabs a seat on the bench.
With a strong implied total (5.15 runs) in a batter-friendly matchup (10.5 over/under, 1.121 park factor), the Rangers offer some fantasy appeal, but it's worth noting that Verlander owns a 1.91 ERA over his last seven starts. numberFire's models project Choo to score 12.0 FanDuel points at a cost of $3,000.
