Cincinnati Reds catcher Tucker Barnhart is starting behind the plate on Tuesday against the Chicago Cubs.
Devin Mesoraco looks like he'll be out for some time after breaking a bone in his foot, and while he is out, Barnhart should take over more regular catching duties. Tonight he is hitting eighth against right-hander Kyle Hendricks.
