Pittsburgh Pirates third/first baseman David Freese is in the starting lineup for Thursday's road meeting with the Detroit Tigers.
Josh Harrison got the start at the hot corner yesterday, but he will take a seat this afternoon as Freese returns to play third in Detroit. Facing righty Drew VerHagen, he will bat fifth on Thursday.
In 29 plate appearances, Freese is hitting .360/.448/.520 with 1 home run and 5 RBI so far in the month of August. At a price of $3,200 and carrying a projection of 8.6 points on FanDuel, he'll look to keep it rolling today.
