Minnesota Twins pitcher Bartolo Colon held the Milwaukee Brewers scoreless in seven innings of work on Wednesday night.
In securing his second consecutive win, the 44-year-old pushed the young Twins to an even record (56-56) for the year after winning four straight. They're now a half-game back of the Kansas City Royals and 4 1/2 back of the Cleveland Indians in the AL Central.
Through 5 starts with the Twins, Colon is 2-1 with a 4.06 FIP and just 0.9 walks per 9 in 31 1/3 innings. He's projected for a 2-3 record and 24 earned runs over 41-plus innings the rest of the season.
