Pittsburgh Pirates third baseman David Freese is not in the starting lineup on Wednesday against the Detroit Tigers.
Freese started the last three games in a row at third base, so manager Clint Hurdle probably wants to get his veteran third baseman a day off. Josh Harrison is moving over to play third base tonight, while Adam Frazier is at second base.
Our models project Freese for a .271 batting average, with 3 home runs, 16 RBI, and 17 runs scored over 153 plate appearances remaining this season.
