Boston Red Sox pitcher Doug Fister will take David Price's (elbow) spot in the rotation.
Brian Johnson is dealing with a shoulder issue, so it will be Fister who fills the void in the Red Sox' rotation. The club reportedly isn't seeking outside help, so the 33-year-old right-hander should have a chance to stick around.
Fister has gone 0-5 in four starts (seven games) this season while twirling a 7.46 ERA, 1.86 WHIP, and 17.2 strikeout percentage across 25 1/3 innings.
