San Diego Padres outfielder Manuel Margot has been placed on the paternity leave list.
Margot should return in a couple of days. Hunter Renfroe (neck) was activated from the 10-day disabled list in a correlated move.
Margot is slashing .259/.305/.376 with 10 steals in 276 plate appearances (64 games) this season. numberFire's models project him to turn in a .254 batting average with 7 steals in 195 plate appearances over the remainder of the 2017 campaign.
