Chicago Cubs outfielder Albert Almora is not in Wednesday's starting lineup versus the Atlanta Braves.
Almora went 1-for-4 with a run scored and a strikeout on Tuesday night while manning center field for the Cubs. He's now slashing .279/.342/.402 in 197 plate appearances (76 games) this season. Ian Happ is drawing the start in center on Wednesday afternoon. He's batting cleanup versus Braves right-hander R.A. Dickey.
numberFire's models project Almora to record a .282 batting average in 146 plate appearances over the remainder of the year.
