Houston Astros starting pitcher Collin McHugh will make his season debut on Saturday versus the Baltimore Orioles.
McHugh has been on the shelf all season with a posterior impingement in his right elbow. If the Astros keep up their stellar play, the 30-year-old right-hander could make for a solid fantasy investment over the second half of the season. He allowed just one unearned run over six innings Sunday in his final rehab start for Double-A Corpus Christi.
numberFire's models currently project McHugh to record a 5.12 ERA, 1.47 WHIP, and 16.6 strikeout percentage over 77 1/3 innings this season.
