New York Yankees infielder Tyler Wade is expected to replace Starlin Castro (hamstring) on the active roster, reports Jack Curry of YES Network.
Castro is expected to be sent to the disabled list Tuesday after MRI results come in. The 22-year-old Wade should see regular playing time and is worth an add in deeper fantasy leagues.
Wade earned the promotion by batting .313 with 5 home runs and 24 steals in 325 plate appearances (70 games) for Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre this season.
