Arizona Diamondbacks outfielder and shortstop Chris Owings is out of the club's lineup for Wednesday's game versus the Colorado Rockies.
Owings will turn the shortstop position over to Nick Ahmed on Wednesday night. He'll bat eighth against righty Jeff Hoffman.
Owings has 8 home runs and a .344 wOBA in 2017. Our models project him for 6 more homers in 321 plate appearances over the rest of the year.
