Boston Red Sox shortstop Xander Bogaerts clubbed a pair of home runs and plated four runs on Sunday, powering the Red Sox to a 6-5 victory over the Houston Astros.
Bogaerts got the scoring going in the first inning with a solo shot off Joe Musgrove and he victimized Musgrove again in the sixth with a go-ahead two-run bomb. He also added an insurance run in the seventh with an RBI single, making for a 3-for-4 day.
Our models project Bogaerts to post a .306 average with 7 home runs, 40 RBI, and 53 runs scored over 374 plate appearances remaining this season.
