Milwaukee Brewers starting pitcher Jimmy Nelson turned in a complete game in Sunday's 2-1 win over the San Diego Padres, allowing one run on six hits while striking out 10.
Erick Aybar got Nelson for an RBI single in the 5th inning on Sunday, but that was the only damage to an otherwise lights out game. Nelson threw a total of 118 pitches and he lowered his ERA to 3.39 over 85 innings this season.
Our models project Nelson to post a 4.07 ERA and a 1.39 WHIP, with 83 strikeouts over 110.2 innings remaining this season.
