Boston Red Sox shortstop Xander Bogaerts blasted his first home run of the season on Thursday as the Sox scored a 6-2 win over the Texas Rangers.
Bogaerts was 2-for-4 in the dish in this one, driving in two RBI's and scoring two runs of his own with the rocket, giving him 29 runs scored and 17 RBI's through 42 games in 2017.
Bogaerts has been effective from the dish this year, slashing .335/.398/.470 with a .375 wOBA through 181 plate appearances.
