Pittsburgh Pirates third baseman David Freese was ejected from Monday's game for arguing balls and strikes.
Freese was joined by his manager Clint Hurdle in the clubhouse after arguing about a called third strike in the fourth inning. Alen Hansen replaced him in the lineup while Josh Harrison slid over from short to cover the hot corner. Freese was 0-for-2 with two strikeouts.
Freese is batting .256 with a .350 wOBA in 97 plate appearances this season.
