Seattle Mariners starting pitcher James Paxton (forearm) is tentatively scheduled to throw a bullpen session Wednesday or Thursday.
Paxton recently did some light toss and came away feeling great. The lefty has been sidelined for two weeks with a forearm strain in his pitching arm but is progressing nicely towards a return date around Memorial Day Weekend (May 26-28).
Paxton was pitching brilliantly to start the year, posting a 3-0 record, 1.43 ERA, 0.98 WHIP, and 45 punchouts in 37 2/3 innings pitched.
