Colorado Rockies first baseman Mark Reynolds clubbed his 12th home run of the season Tuesday as the Rockies beat the Chicago Cubs 10-4 in the first half of a split doubleheader.
Reynolds finished the game 3-for-4 with three runs scored and three RBI's as he continued his red-hot start to the season. The 11-year veteran has been found gold for the Rockies so far as they signed Reynolds to a $1.5 million minor league deal this offseason.
Reynolds owns .336 average with a 1.081 OPS, 12 home runs, and 30 RBI's in 128 plate appearances.
