St. Louis Caridnals first baseman Matt Carpenter went 1-for-3 from the dish on Monday, drawing two walks, driving in two RBI's and scoring one run as the Cardinals blew past the Miami Marlins for a 9-4 victory.
Carpenter has had a strong start to the year, slashing .266/.423/.553 with a .415 wOBA through 123 plate appearances.
