New York Mets catcher Tavis d'Arnaud (wrist) is getting his troublesome wrist examined by a doctor on Thursday, per Anthony DiComo of MLB.com.
d'Arnaud left Tuesday's game with a sore wrist and had missed the last two games due to continued soreness, spurring a doctor's visit. The wrist is the same one the catcher bruised two weeks ago that caused him to miss a pair of games. There is a chance d'Arnaud ends up on the disabled list with the troublesome wrist injury. Rene Rivera is catching on Thursday.
d'Arnaud is batting .203/.288/.475 with 4 home runs, 16 RBI's and 10 runs scored in 66 plate appearances this season.
