San Fransisco Giants starting pitcher Ty Blach was outstanding in a no-decision against the San Diego Padres, allowing just three hits over seven shutout innings.
Blach walked two and struck out one, allowing just one extra-base hit. He has been brilliant filling in for Madison Bumgarner and will continue to do so until the All-Star break. His next start will come later this week on the road versus the Cincinnati Reds.
Blach owns a 2.55 ERA and 0.91 WHIP with a 0-1 record and just five strikeouts in 17 2/3 innings pitched this season.
