Seattle Mariners shortstop Taylor Motter went 2-for-5 from the dish on Sunday, hitting a double and blasting a grand slam in an 11-1 blowout win over the Oakland Athletics.
The Mariners were up 2-1 when Motter took Andrew Triggs deep for his grand slam in the third inning, and Seattle poured it on from there, moving to 8-12 on the season.
Motter is slashing .255/.321/.667 with a .412 wOBA through 56 plate appearances to open the year.
