Matt Kemp (hamstring) is set to begin a minor league rehab assignment Wednesday with Triple-A Gwinnett.
Kemp will be activated from the disabled list Thursday, one day later than originally expected. He hasn't played since April 7 due to a right hamstring strain.
Kemp was off to a hot start this year with a blistering .500/.529/1.125 slash, two home runs, four RBI's and two runs scored in just 17 plate appearances.
