Atlanta Braves outfielder Matt Kemp (hamstring) is likely to return from the disabled when first eligible on Wednesday.
Kemp tweaked his right hamstring on April 7, but after participating in hitting, running and fielding drills on Monday, the veteran outfielder looks ready to play. He will resume his regular spot in left field and as the cleanup hitter on Wednesday versus the Washington Nationals.
Kemp was off to a hot start this year with a .684 wOBA, two home runs, four RBI's and two runs scored in just 17 plate appearances.
