Chicago Cubs catcher Willson Contreras is not in the lineup on Friday against the Pittsburgh Pirates.
Miguel Montero will start behind the plate as Contreras gets Friday's matinée off. Jason Heyward will be in center field for the Cubs while Ben Zobrist mans right and Javier Baez starts at second. The Pirates will be sending right-hander Gerrit Cole to the mound.
Contreras is slashing .286/.310/.464 across 29 plate appearances this season with a pair of doubles, one home run, five RBI's and three runs scored in seven games.
