Boston Red Sox starting pitcher David Price (elbow) could be cleared for a minor league rehab assignment "within two weeks," says Jon Heyman of FanRag Sports.
There's still plenty of rehab work to be done between now and the time Price would be taking a minor league mound, but he remains on track to make his 2017 big league debut by mid-May. The 31-year-old left-hander has been out since the beginning of March.
numberFire's metrics expect Price to record a 3.43 ERA, 1.16 WHIP and 24.7 strikeout percentage this season.
