Minnesota Twins outfielder Byron Buxton went 0-for-3 with three more strikeouts Tuesday against the Detroit Tigers.
Buxton is now 2-for-29 (.069) on the season with a league-high 17 punchouts. He was pulled in the ninth inning on Tuesday for Max Kepler, showing the Twins' patience is wearing thin for the 23-year-old. Don't be surprised if Minnesota sends Buxton down to Triple-A again until he figures it out. He is only worth owning in dynasty/keeper fantasy leagues at the moment.
Through 30 plate appearances this season, Buxton is batting .069/.100/.103 with a 56.7 strikeout percentage and a .094 wOBA.
