Cincinnati Reds reliever Raisel Iglesias (elbow, hips) threw a side session without issue on Tuesday.
Iglesias injured his right elbow and both of his hips after he slipped in the shower a few weeks ago, but it's nothing of serious concern. MLB.com's Mark Sheldon says the 27-year-old closer will break camp with the team. He's expected to open the year as the Reds' primary ninth-inning man.
numberFire's models currently project Iglesias for a 3.39 ERA, 1.13 WHIP and 25.3 strikeout percentage across 74 1/3 innings in 2017.
