Los Angeles Dodgers manager Dave Roberts said that shortstop Corey Seager (back) increased his activity Tuesday, but the shortstop will still be held out of games until the weekend.
Seager has been nursing a back injury, but the Dodgers feel it is more of a day-to-day thing than anything serious for the reigning NL Rookie of the Year. With it being early in spring training, they are wisely taking it cautiously with Seager. He is not in any jeopardy of missing any regular season games, so far.
Seager batted .308 with 26 HR, 72 RBI, and 105 runs scored in 2016.
