Boston Red Sox outfielder Mookie Betts underwent a successful right knee arthroscopy, chondroplasty and a loose body removal on Thursday.
Betts dealt with right knee soreness throughout the second half of last season, but still slashed .338/.388/.547 with 13 long ones and 54 RBI's. He should be ready for the start of spring training, if not soon thereafter.
On the season, Betts hit .318/.363/.534 with career-highs in home runs (31), RBI's (113) and stolen bases (26) across a career-high 730 plate appearances. His .379 wOBA, .216 ISO and 11.0 strikeout percentage were all career-bests as well.
