Chicago Cubs pitcher Jon Lester pitched six innings on Sunday, allowing two runs on four hits, as the Cubs beat the Cleveland Indians 3-2. Cleveland's series lead now sits at 3-2.
This was Lester's second start of the world series, and a marked improvement over the three runs, six hits and three walks he allowed in 5 2/3 innings in Game 1.
The Cubs' chances of winning the series take a big jump with that win, but our models still have them as significant underdogs, with a 29.2 percent chance of being World Series champions.
