San Francisco Giants starting pitcher Madison Bumgarner's representatives were told "we're ready when you're ready" by general manager Bobby Evans, in regards to a contract extension.
The Giants inked Bumgarner to an extremely team-friendly deal in 2012, and the club will pay their ace his dues. According to Evans, he and Bumgarner have already spoke one-on-one.
Bumgarner finished the regular season with a 2.74 ERA and 3.36 SIERA through 226 2/3 innings pitched, while also posting a career-high 27.5 percent strikeout rate.
