Los Angeles Dodgers hit a go-ahead RBI single in the bottom of the eighth on Tuesday, which proved to be the winning run as the Dodgers picked up a 6-5 win over the Washington Nationals in the NLDS Game 4.
It was Utley's only hit of the night, but he made it count, hitting a grounder off Blake Treinen to help the Dodgers force a Game 5, which will take place in Washington on Thursday.
It hasn't been an overly impressive year from the dish for the 37-year-old Utley, who posted a .252/.319/.396 slash and .312 wOBA in 565 regular season plate appearances.
