Los Angeles Dodgers starting pitcher Clayton Kershaw shut down the Colorado Rockies for seven scoreless innings on three hits as the Dodgers won 14-1 on Saturday.
Kershaw didn't walk a batter and posted six punch outs on Saturday in the blowout win. After missing a couple of months with a back injury, Kershaw has come back just as strong and ready to lead the Dodgers in the playoffs.
Kershaw now has a 2.17 xFIP and 2.31 SIERA this season across 142 innings of work. Both of those marks would be leading the majors if he had enough innings to qualify, as would his 1.65 ERA.
