New York Mets pitcher Jacob deGrom (forearm) will start on Sunday against the Minnesota Twins.
This will be deGrom's first start since September 1 and he's expected to be around 75 pitches. He resumed throwing off a mound almost a week ago and hasn't had any setbacks with his forearm.
The 28-year-old right-hander has been having the worst year of his young career, and his 3.04 EA, 3.67 SIERA and 23.7 percent strikeout rate are all career-worsts.
