Detroit Tigers second baseman Ian Kinsler scored two runs and drove in three RBI's on 4-for-5 hitting Wednesday as the Tigers beat the Minnesota Twins 9-6.
Kinsler was off to a slow start to the month, but that huge performance brings him up to eight runs scored and eight RBI's through 43 plate appearances in September (11 contests).
It has been a good year from the dish for Kinsler, slashing .282/.339/.479 with a .350 wOBA and .197 ISO through 622 plate appearances. He also has 26 home runs on the year -- his best mark since 2011.
