Washington Nationals catcher Wilson Ramos is not in the starting lineup Thursday against the Philadelphia Phillies.
This is simply a day off for Ramos. Jose Lobaton -- and his .298 wOBA this season -- will get the start behind the plate on Thursday. Ramos is slashing an impressive .307/.356/.497 in 472 plate appearances this season.
Ramos is having a career year, as his 20 home runs, 54 runs, 73 RBI's and .362 wOBA are all career-bests. We project him to hit three more taters and post a .765 OPS over the remaining course of the season.
