Baltimore Orioles manager Buck Showalter said Sunday that outfielder Adam Jones (hamstring) is "close" to returning to the lineup.
Buck indicated that Jones probably could have played if it was a night game on Sunday, so there seems to be a chance he could make his return to the lineup as early as Monday night against the Toronto Blue Jays.
Jones is having a bit of a down year, slashing .275/.316/.456 through 539 plate appearances. His .334 wOBA is his lowest since 2008. He does have a solid 24 homers and 74 RBI's in 2016.
