Cincinnati Reds outfielder Adam Duvall (foot) remains out of the starting lineup Friday against the Los Angeles Dodgers.
On Monday, Duvall fouled a ball off his foot and he hasn't played since, although his participation in batting practice before Thursday's contest suggests he's close to returning. Tony Renda -- and his .222 wOBA in 23 plate appearances this season -- will replace Duvall in left field on Friday.
Duvall is slashing .243/.295/.518 with 27 home runs, a .340 wOBA and a .275 ISO (fifth-best) in 438 plate appearances this season. We project him to hit eight more taters and post a .781 OPS over the rest of the year.
