Arizona Diamondbacks outfielder Yasmany Tomas (neck) remained out of the starting lineup Friday against the Boston Red Sox.
Tomas has missed four consecutive starts due to a stiff neck and he remains day-to-day. The Diamondbacks are using Rickie Weeks -- and his .328 wOBA this season -- in left field in Tomas' place.
Tomas has improved on his rookie numbers from 2015, and is hitting .272/.313/.503 with 21 home runs, a .343 wOBA and a .231 ISO through 387 plate appearances this season. We project him to hit six more taters and post a .773 OPS over the remaining course of the season.
