Cincinnati Reds pitcher Raisel Iglesias earned his first save of the season on Tuesday in a 7-4 win over the St. Louis Cardinals.
Iglesias spun a perfect ninth inning, sitting down three batters in order to preserve the Reds' lead and earn the save.
While Iglesias has seen a big improvement in ERA from his rookie year (4.15 to 2.09), his SIERA is actually a bit worse this season (3.55, compared to 3.26 in 2015). He's also sporting a 1.20 nERD on the year.
